How do I buy a ticket?

Browse events, click Get Ticket, choose your ticket type, then pay securely via Paystack. Your QR ticket is emailed instantly after payment.

What payment methods are accepted?

All major cards (Visa, Mastercard, Verve), bank transfers, USSD, and Paystack Balance.

Where is my ticket after payment?

Check your email immediately. It's also visible under My Tickets on your dashboard.

Can I get a refund?

Refund policies are set per event by the organizer. Contact us and we'll help mediate.

My payment went through but no ticket?

Check your dashboard → My tickets. Contact support with your payment reference if still missing after 5 minutes.

For Organizers
How do I create an event?

Register as Organizer → Dashboard → Create event. Add details, ticket types, pricing, then submit for review.

How long does approval take?

Usually a few hours. You'll get an email when your event goes live.

When do I get paid?

Request your payout from your organiser dashboard after your event ends. Payouts are processed on business days only (Monday to Friday, excluding Nigerian public holidays). Funds are transferred to your registered bank account within 1 business day of your request being approved. You will receive a confirmation once your payment is sent.

Can I set different ticket prices?

Yes — add multiple ticket types (Early Bird, Regular, VIP) each with its own price and quantity.

What is the platform commission / service fee?

We add a small service fee on top of the prices you set no hidden charges, no monthly fees, no setup costs. You only pay when you earn.

Tickets: We add 6% on top of your ticket price. Example: you set ₦3,000 — the buyer pays ₦3,180 — you receive your full ₦3,000. The service fee is paid by the buyer, not deducted from you.

Votes/Polls: We deduct 7% from vote revenue collected on your behalf. Example: your poll collects ₦1,000,000 — you receive ₦930,000 and we keep ₦70,000.

Both rates are shown clearly when you create your event or poll.

Are there any other charges?

No. No monthly subscription, no listing fee, no setup fee, no withdrawal fee. You only pay the service fee when attendees or voters pay — if no one pays, you pay nothing.

Does Goratify have a referral programme?

Yes — organizers earn a bonus for every other organizer they refer. Once you're registered, find your unique referral link on your dashboard. Share it with other event creators. When they sign up through your link and make their first sale, a bonus is automatically credited to your account balance — which you can withdraw with your normal payouts. There is no limit on how many organizers you can refer.

E-Voting
How does e-voting work?

Organizers create polls with candidates. Voters visit the poll page and cast their vote — one per verified account. Results update live.

Is voting anonymous?

Yes. Each verified voter casts one ballot per poll. Votes are encrypted and results update live, ensuring full transparency and trust in the outcome.

Can anyone vote?

Yes, anyone can vote using their name and email address. This helps prevent duplicate voting and ensures the results remain fair and trustworthy.

Can I vote from my phone?

Yes — the entire voting experience is mobile-optimised. Just open the poll link on your phone and vote.
