How to choose and book a venue safely
- Visit before you pay. Photos can hide small rooms, poor ventilation or noise from neighbours. Check the hall at the time of day your event will hold.
- Ask about power and parking. Confirm there is a generator or inverter, who pays for fuel, and how many cars the compound can take.
- Get the full price in writing. Ask what is included: chairs, tables, air conditioning, cleaning, sound system, security and decoration access time.
- Understand the deposit and cancellation rules. Ask how much is refundable if you change the date, and get a receipt for every payment.
- Check capacity honestly. A hall that seats 300 may only be comfortable for 200 once you add a stage, a dance floor and tables.
- Plan your tickets and guest list early. Selling tickets online with Goratify LTD helps you know your real headcount before you finalise the venue.
